Hot Pot Industry Solutions
When a hot pot operator asks for a meat slicer, our first question is: what form must reach the table? A curled roll, a flat slice and a cut strip look different because the incoming meat and cutting routes are different. Getting that distinction right matters more than putting several machines under one “hot pot equipment” label.
Do you need a curled meat roll?
Start with a formed cylindrical roll that has been hard frozen. The frozen meat roll slicer is designed for that prepared starting form. In a sample run, we check the roll diameter and frozen condition against the intended thickness, curl and number of usable portions. Lightly chilled meat will not necessarily produce the same curled presentation.

Cutting a formed frozen roll
Frozen meat roll cutting trial. Compare the starting roll and the resulting curl with the plate you intend to serve; confirm thickness and usable portions with your own material.
Do you need a flat slice instead?
If the incoming product is a frozen block and the target is a flat portion, we assess the JX-25 frozen meat slicer against the block size, frozen condition and required thickness. That is a separate trial from roll cutting. For suitable prepared fresh boneless meat intended as strips or cubes for other menu items, the JX-300 meat cutter may be relevant with an appropriate knife configuration. A video of rolled meat does not verify the flat-slice or strip result.
Where do vegetables enter the preparation route?
Hot pot menus also need vegetable portions. For suitable long or oval produce requiring aligned slices, we can consider the V-type vegetable slicer. Leafy vegetables cut to serving length may instead call for the JX-702 leafy vegetable cutter. These jobs are selected by vegetable shape, feed and desired serving appearance; they are not extensions of the meat-roll process.
What should the sample plate tell us?
For meat rolls, look at curl stability, thickness variation and broken or unusable pieces after normal portioning and plating. For flat slices, judge the required size and whether the raw block feeds reliably. For vegetables, check cut appearance and portion suitability. Record the incoming material condition for every comparison; changing the material between trials makes the results harder to interpret.
If you can show us one target plate and the raw material used to make it, we can identify which route to test first. State whether you need a curled roll, a flat slice or another format when you contact Jiaxuan Machinery.
